How to Use This Converter

  1. Enter the amount – Type the number you want to convert.
  2. Select the "From" unit – Choose the unit you're converting from (mg, mcg, g for mass; ml, cc, units, L for volume).
  3. Select the "To" unit – Choose the unit you want to convert to.
  4. Read the result – The conversion appears instantly. Note that you can only convert within the same category (mass to mass, or volume to volume).

Quick Reference

Mass Conversions

  • 1 gram (g)= 1,000 mg
  • 1 milligram (mg)= 1,000 mcg
  • 1 microgram (mcg)= 0.001 mg

Volume Conversions

  • 1 ml= 1 cc
  • 1 ml= 100 units (U-100)
  • 1 liter= 1,000 ml

Common Peptide Measurements

  • Peptide vials: Typically measured in mg (5mg, 10mg, 15mg)
  • Doses: Usually measured in mcg (100mcg, 250mcg, 500mcg)
  • Bacteriostatic water: Measured in ml
  • Insulin syringes: Marked in units (100 units = 1ml on U-100 syringes)

Note on IU (International Units)

IU conversions are substance-specific and cannot be universally converted. For example, 1 IU of HCG is not the same as 1 IU of insulin. Use the specific peptide calculators for IU-based medications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mass (mg, mcg, g) and volume (ml, cc, units) are different types of measurements. You need to know the concentration to convert between them. Use the reconstitution calculator to determine concentration, then the dosage calculator to convert dose to volume.
They're the same. 1 ml (milliliter) equals 1 cc (cubic centimeter). Both terms are used interchangeably in medical contexts. You may see syringes marked in either unit.
On a U-100 insulin syringe (the most common type for peptides), 100 units = 1 ml. So 10 units = 0.1 ml, 50 units = 0.5 ml, etc. This converter uses the U-100 standard.
