What is it? BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a healing peptide that comes as a freeze-dried powder in a small glass vial.

What does "reconstitution" mean? It just means mixing the powder with water so you can inject it. You add bacteriostatic water (BAC water) — this is sterile water with a tiny amount of preservative that keeps it safe to use for weeks.

What's an insulin syringe? A small syringe with 100 tiny marks (called "units") used for precise dosing. You can buy them at most pharmacies.

What are mcg and mg? These are weight measurements. 1 mg (milligram) = 1,000 mcg (micrograms). Your vial is labeled in mg, but doses are usually in mcg.

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Select your vial size – Choose the amount of BPC-157 in your vial (5mg, 10mg, or 15mg are common).
  2. Enter BAC water amount – Input how much bacteriostatic water you'll add. The default of 2ml works well for most situations.
  3. Select your dose – Choose your desired dose in mcg. 250mcg is a common starting point.
  4. Read your results – The calculator shows your concentration, how many units to draw per dose, and how many doses you'll get from the vial.

About BPC-157

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic peptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It consists of 15 amino acids and has been studied for its potential regenerative properties.

Research has explored BPC-157's effects on:

  • Tendon and ligament healing
  • Muscle tissue repair
  • Gut health and ulcer healing
  • Inflammatory response modulation

Common BPC-157 Protocols

Protocol Daily Dose Frequency Duration
Standard 250-500 mcg 1-2x daily 4-12 weeks
Acute Injury 500 mcg 2x daily 2-4 weeks
Maintenance 150-250 mcg 1x daily Ongoing

* These are commonly discussed protocols in research literature. Always consult a healthcare professional before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Research has used both local injection (under the skin near the injury) and systemic injection (under the skin in your belly fat, away from the injury). Some researchers prefer local injection for targeted effects, while systemic injection may have broader, whole-body effects.
Unlike most peptides, BPC-157 has shown stability in gastric conditions in some research. Oral administration may be effective for gut-related applications, though injection is more common for systemic effects.
Store reconstituted BPC-157 in the refrigerator (2-8°C). When reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it typically remains stable for 4-6 weeks. Avoid freezing reconstituted peptides.
