What is it? CJC-1295 is a peptide that signals your pituitary gland to release growth hormone. It amplifies and extends GH pulses.

Two versions exist: CJC-1295 with DAC (long-acting, 1-2x weekly) and without DAC (short-acting, 2-3x daily). They work differently!

Key point: Most people use the "no DAC" version (also called Mod GRF 1-29) and stack it with Ipamorelin for best results.

DAC vs No DAC: Which Should You Use?

CJC-1295 NO DAC

(Also called Mod GRF 1-29)

  • Short half-life (~30 min)
  • Inject 2-3x daily (with Ipamorelin)
  • Mimics natural GH pulses
  • Most popular choice

CJC-1295 WITH DAC

(Drug Affinity Complex)

  • ~ Long half-life (~6-8 days)
  • ~ Inject 1-2x per week
  • ~ Constant GH elevation (less natural)
  • ~ Fewer injections, but blunts pulses

Recommendation: Most people prefer no DAC because it creates natural-looking GH pulses and stacks better with Ipamorelin.

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin Stack Protocol

The most popular GH peptide stack. Here's how to use them together:

Standard Stack Protocol

Peptide Dose Frequency
CJC-1295 (no DAC) 100 mcg 2-3x daily
Ipamorelin 100-200 mcg 2-3x daily (same time)

Can I mix them together?

Yes! You can draw both into the same syringe. This reduces injections from 6 per day to 3.

Why stack them?

Ipamorelin triggers GH release. CJC-1295 amplifies and extends it. Together = bigger, longer GH pulses.

Frequently Asked Questions

DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a modification that extends the half-life dramatically:

  • No DAC: Half-life ~30 minutes. Inject 2-3x daily. Creates natural GH pulses.
  • With DAC: Half-life ~6-8 days. Inject 1-2x weekly. Creates constant GH elevation.

Most people prefer no DAC because pulsatile GH release is more natural and it synergizes better with Ipamorelin.

CJC-1295 (no DAC) works much better when stacked with a GHRP like Ipamorelin. Here's why:

  • CJC-1295 is a GHRH analog - it amplifies GH release
  • But it needs something to trigger that release first
  • Ipamorelin provides that trigger

Think of it like this: Ipamorelin starts the car, CJC-1295 hits the gas. Together they're much more effective than either alone.

Mod GRF 1-29 is the same thing as CJC-1295 without DAC. It's also called "Modified GRF" or sometimes just "CJC" (confusingly).

The names refer to the same peptide - a modified version of the first 29 amino acids of GHRH. It's modified to resist breakdown and last ~30 minutes instead of just a few minutes.

Same timing rules as Ipamorelin - on an empty stomach:

  • Morning: Immediately upon waking, before breakfast
  • Pre-workout: 30-60 min before training (optional, if fasted)
  • Before bed: 30+ min after last meal

Wait 30 minutes after injection before eating.
